Our Plan.
Our plan at reforest.world is carbon sequestration and the creation of habitation for the creatures we share this world. With your help we can turn land that has been sitting idle into a lush carbon capturing forest by planting trees, hedgerows, flowers and plants as quickly as we can.
We are offering plots of this land for sponsorship at £50 per square metre, with your donation being invested directly into bringing this land back to life.

What is Carbon Sequestration?
Carbon sequestration is the process of capturing, securing and storing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. It occurs both naturally and as a result of anthropogenic activities.
The term carbon sequestration typically refers to the storage of carbon that has the immediate potential to become carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas. It can occur in plants, soils, geologic formations, and the ocean and is an important process for mitigating climate change by reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Our land map has been divided in 62 Zones which have been sub-divided into square metre plots for sponsorship.
Zone 24 is open for sponsorship, and once that Zone is fully sponsored we will open up the next Zone.
